Every deep dive I publish now comes with a companion slide deck, and the one that came with my Amadeus write-up, which I attached below, should show what that looks like and the value it provides.
It carries the hypothesis, the business, the competitive position, the valuation, and the case against, laid out briefly so you can get a grasp of the key thesis, even on a day when you don’t have an hour or two for the full piece.
The long piece is still where the real analytical insights can be found, where I show the reasoning, stress-test the numbers, and lay out where I could be wrong. But the slide deck is the reasoning stripped to its load-bearing parts, tight enough to read in a few minutes and still leave you with the thesis in hand.
I’m sharing the Amadeus deck below, as a .pdf download and as uploaded images, because it shows what a subscription gets you.
And of course, the deck is just one piece of the broader value proposition. Membership opens the entire library of deep dives, 65 and counting, the most thorough analyses you’ll find anywhere, valuation models included and downloadable. I now add a companion deck to every one of those pieces from here on.
There’s also the WhatsApp community, where a group of serious investors shares ideas in real time.
And there are the digital conferences we run about three times a year, where members present their own stock ideas and/or we dig into the broader themes together. The next one should be focused on exchanging best practices when it comes to leveraging AI in our analytical work.
All of it comes to less than one euro a day. Come join us!
